A story told in sound.
The music begins with emotion. Sometimes that becomes uplifting trance; sometimes it becomes something slower, stranger or more intimate. The aim is always the same: to step outside everyday life for a few minutes and listen.

The books began as journals. Journey after journey started forming a narrative, and the narrative became a book.
Book One
Shamanic Journeys, Archetypes and the Return to Self
Book One opened the door.
A record of the journeys, symbols and encounters that began to reveal an inner world with a narrative of its own. You do not need to believe my experience. The invitation is to discover what you can experience for yourself.
What begins as an exploration of past-life regression soon opens into something far deeper.
Guided through forests, coastlines, temples and ancestral halls, Seán Patrick Conroy encounters a living inner world populated by animals, dragons, gods, wounded protectors and forgotten parts of the self. Each journey presents a task: to face fear without fleeing, to hold power without being consumed by it, and to recognise when protection has become another form of imprisonment.
Moving between vivid visionary experience and grounded psychological reflection, The Realm Within traces one man’s passage through grief, trauma, archetype and transformation. It does not ask the reader to decide whether these beings exist inside the psyche or beyond it. Instead, it asks a more urgent question:
What happens when the inner world becomes real enough to change the life being lived outside it?
This is a story of integration, sovereignty and the difficult return to the self beneath the armour.
Book Two
The Hero’s Shamanic Journey, Archetypes, Individuation and the Deep Unconscious
Book Two made it real.
The journey moves deeper into identity, discernment and learning how to live with the parts of myself that Book One uncovered. The question is no longer only what is inside, but what to do with what has been found.
We live in the most persuaded age in history.
Every hour arrives with an opinion attached. Truth comes ready-made, outrage on schedule, identity off the shelf. The outer world has never spoken so loudly, and it has never had less to say about the only question that matters: who is sovereign in your own mind?
There is an older territory. It does not advertise. It has never once been on trend, and it cannot be bought, scrolled, or skipped. It is the realm within. Everyone alive carries a border to it. Almost no one crosses.
This book is the record of a crossing.
What waits there is not comfort. It is a marriage that demands everything, a war older than its names, and an enemy whose only weapon is deception, the same weapon working tirelessly out here. Against it, the realm teaches what the world forgets: that truth is not information but an ordeal. That sovereignty is not power over others but authorship of yourself. That no one can hand you either one, and that much of what is built out here depends on you never finding that out.
The hunt for truth does not begin out there. It never did.
Dunderry
Dunderry is difficult to explain without using the word magic. The forest, lake, cairn, rhythm and nature teach awareness: first of what is around you, then of yourself.
I may leave Dunderry, but Dunderry never leaves you.

The place
Dunderry Park is a centre for Celtic shamanism in County Meath, run by Martin Duffy through the Oaktree Charitable Trust, a non-profit set up to help people cope with the stress of life. A restored Georgian house stands in 25 acres of wooded parkland with a lake, close to the ancient sites of Tara, Newgrange and Loughcrew, and hosts workshops in shamanism, shamanic training and transpersonal therapy.
Project Seraphonic
Project Seraphonic is bigger than one book, one album or one genre. The books give the inner world a voice in words. The music gives it a voice in sound.
Created by Seán Patrick Conroy, the project will continue to grow through books and the albums that emerge alongside them.
